Philippe is based in Belgium and has been interested in photography for many years. His first love was photographing landscapes and woodland, which he still does. Five years ago, Philippe attended a talk in his local camera club from a well-renowned street photographer, and since then he has been obsessed with this beautiful genre.

Philippe tries to participate in different exhibitions, both locally and internationally. Since being involved with UPC, Philippe has been able to share his work in the United Kingdom.

London Photo Show Exhibition

What inspired you to curate this particular collection of photographs for your exhibition?

Last year, I did a little project about people on holiday in a specific town, Blankenberghe, on the Belgian coast.

I was looking to take pictures in midsummer with full sun and a blue sky to accentuate the colours.

My goal was to capture pictures that showed some absurdities with tourists in rather humorous situations.

I have called this collection “View of another Blankenberghe”.
